Upgrade Your Business Lighting With Incentives of Up to 75%

Eligible B.C. businesses may receive BC Hydro funding covering up to 75% of qualifying lighting retrofit costs. We can review your existing lighting, discuss suitable upgrades and help determine whether the project may qualify before work begins.

A current 30% bonus applies to eligible Business Energy Saving Incentive projects submitted by February 11, 2027. Eligible projects must be completed by March 14, 2028.

Incentive amounts depend on the existing equipment, selected replacement products, site eligibility, energy savings and BC Hydro approval. Pre-approval is required before work begins. The 30% bonus applies to the calculated incentive amount and does not add 30 percentage points to the share of project costs covered.

EV Ready Planning and Infrastructure

For a broader rollout, the project may begin with an EV Ready plan or other required electrical planning. The resulting direction can identify infrastructure, load management, connection points, charger requirements and a phased approach for future installations.

EV Charging Rebates May Be Available

Eligible strata and workplace projects may qualify for support with planning, electrical infrastructure and charger installation. Pre-approval may be required before work begins.

  • Thoughtful Electrical Planning

Lighting, power, equipment connections and future electrical needs are considered in relation to how the finished property needs to look, function and serve the people using it.

  • Clean, Organized Workmanship

  • Planning Around Active Operations

Project timing, access and work areas are discussed before work begins to reduce avoidable disruption to tenants, staff and customers.

  • Permits and Utility Coordination

We obtain required electrical permits and coordinate with BC Hydro when the approved project requires it.

  • Clear Project Ownership

Our team provides clear communication, defined responsibilities and accountable project ownership from quoting through completion.

  4. 4

Schedule and coordinate the work. Timing is planned with the owner, contractor, property manager or site contact.

At a Port Coquitlam body shop, a new welding machine needed a dedicated 30-amp, 240-volt connection before it could be used. We repurposed and rewired an unused existing circuit to supply the new equipment, allowing the shop to put the machine into operation.
